Research with impact
Research in our Centre for Energy, Petroleum and Mineral Law and Policy (CEPMLP) is focused on the role played by law, economics, and international politics on the various energy and natural resources industries, with a particular emphasis on the impacts of transitions on governance, markets, sustainability and justice.
Research in Dundee Law School informs law and policy development in water law, sustainable development, biodiversity and ecosystems management, and environmental regulation as well as human rights.
Learning and teaching
We’re committed to promoting peaceful and just societies through programmes at both undergraduate and postgraduate level. For example, undergraduate Law students can study Justice, Law & Human Rights and we offer a variety of taught postgraduate programmes on the legal aspects of the environment, sustainability and the just transition.
Operations
Finances: we publish our full financial statements each year.
Governance: the University Court is the governing body of the University, responsible for the employment of staff and the management & administration of property and finance. The Senate regulates and superintends the academic work of the University, from admissions, through all its teaching activities to graduation.
