Supply Chain Code of Conduct

The University of Dundee utilises the Sustain Supply Chain Code of Conduct in all procurement exercises undertaken by Procurement. All suppliers added to the approved University of Dundee purchasing system are required to sign up to the code which covers several sustainability-related areas including compliance with social, ethical and environmental regulations and best practice approaches.

Ethical and social requirements

We ensure our suppliers, and anyone they subcontract, comply with all relevant regulations in relation to the terms of employment and working conditions of their employees, workers and any other persons engaged to perform works and/or services on their behalf.

This includes complying with:

• health and safety requirements
• national minimum wage requirements
• any relevant social security requirements
• all applicable anti-slavery and human trafficking laws, statutes, and regulations
