University credit loading policy

This policy sets out the maximum and minimum credits a student can undertake per academic session

Minimum 

  • Normally, a minimum of one module which might be as low as 10 credits.

Maximum

  • 160 credits for undergraduate students when in full time attendance. This shall not exceed more than 80 credits in any one semester.
  • 180 credits for a postgraduate student when in full time attendance.
