Are you studying History? Or perhaps English, Philosophy or an Art & Design subject? Maybe you simply have a keen interest in history, culture, and storytelling?
Join us to hear from professionals working in museums, archives and a heritage trust. Discover roles you might not have considered, learn how people got started in the sector, and find out what skills and experiences can help you break in.
Our panel of heritage professionals will each give a short talk about the sector and will be invited to share their career stories. This will be followed by an opportunity for students to ask questions either by raising their hand in the room or by submitting questions through a QR code. We are planning a short break at around 15:00 but we encourage you to take breaks as and when you need them. Participation is always encouraged! In this session you're invited to share ask questions. If you'd prefer, you're welcome to come along to just listen.
