Student support in the School of Medicine
We offer support to all students in the School of Medicine
Within the Medical School we have our own dedicated Student Support Team specifically to assist and support medical students. Our team has years of experience working with students from many backgrounds and helping with a wide range of issues.
Our team consists of Professional Services staff and Educational, Guidance and Support Tutors (EGSTs), who are the academic members of the team. You can seek advice on issues such as:
- finance
- withdrawals
- mitigating circumstances
- immigration/visas
- accommodation
- adjustments
- disability
- mental health
- academic skills
This is not an exhaustive list, and all questions and concerns are welcome. We have extensive links with services on city campus, so can direct students to more specialised support if required.
