This module explores the structure, organisation, and function of the human body.
What you will learn
In this module, you will:
- learn anatomical terminology to describe body structures and functions
- develop an understanding of the structure and organisation of the major human body systems
- learn using anatomical models and prosections (professionally dissected cadaver)
By the end of this module, you will be able to:
- identify structures within the human body
- understand the relationship between different body structures and systems
- show an understanding of tissue types and their role in body functions
- work effectively as part of a team when exploring anatomical concepts
