What you will learn

In this module, you will:

  • learn anatomical terminology to describe body structures and functions
  • develop an understanding of the structure and organisation of the major human body systems
  • learn using anatomical models and prosections (professionally dissected cadaver)

By the end of this module, you will be able to:

  • identify structures within the human body
  • understand the relationship between different body structures and systems
  • show an understanding of tissue types and their role in body functions
  • work effectively as part of a team when exploring anatomical concepts
