Anatomy is the basis of biomedical science, medicine, and dentistry. It is the scientific study of the structures that form the human body.

Our gross anatomy modules here at the University of Dundee involve full body dissection of flexible Thiel-embalmed cadavers. This will give you a realistic view of the 3-D anatomy of the human body.

This module is based around practical dissection sessions that last up to 9 hours per week. It is a companion module for CA51025 Human Gross Anatomy of the Trunk and CA52020 Human Gross Anatomy of the Limbs. You will also take these during your course.
