Expand on your creative skills and expertise through an industry focused project. You will engage with an external organisation, addressing social and environmental domains through storytelling.

The module will allow you to expand your research skills through engagement with audiences, linked to project briefs.

Conversation, listening, storytelling and critical reflection will help to underpin communication design outputs. It will further your professional and production skills through interdisciplinary group activity and individual outcomes.

Through this module you will also begin to develop your own voice through your work. You will also consider the way in which you will want to drive your own creative practice and your place in the world.

What you will learn

  • visualise your outcomes to a very high standard
  • develop team working skills
  • explore the ethical boundaries of communication design

By the end of this module you will:

  • feel confident as a designer within the global communication design arena

  • research and critical analyses (15%)
  • creative development (30%)
  • realisation of project (30%)
  • 1,500-word written reflective essay (25%)

This module does not have a final exam.
