Biography

I obtained my Ph.D. in Psychology from the University of Glasgow in 2016 and spent time as a research assistant at the Berenson-Allen Centre for Non-invasive Brain Stimulation (Harvard Medical School) and as a postdoc at the Centre for Cognitive Neuroimaging (University of Glasgow). In January 2019, I joined the Psychology Department within the School of Social Sciences at the University of Dundee as a Lecturer in Psychology.

My research interests are predominantly in cognitive neuroscience, neuropsychology and decision-making. In my lab, we employ visual psychophysics, electroencephalography (EEG) and psychometric testing (either alone or in combination) to investigate perceptual and metacognitive decision-making in health, aging and disease.

Media availability

I am available for media commentary on my research.

“Making study materials and datasets associated with my publications available on the Open Science Framework increased the impact and citations of the research and resulted in multiple new research collaborations.”
