Biography
Lee is a Lecturer in Accounting within the Accounting & Finance discipline at the School of Business, where she has been a faculty member since 2022. She is also the Programme Director for the BSc Accounting & Finance undergraduate programme.
Lee completed her PhD at Brunel University, London, with her doctoral research focusing on corporate accountability for biodiversity and species extinction.
Her research interests include biodiversity and extinction reporting and accountability, rewilding and biodiversity restoration, the circular economy, and broader sustainability topics. Her work has been published in several peer-reviewed journals, including the Journal of Business Ethics, International Journal of Finance and Economics, and Business Strategy and the Environment.
Lee has presented her research at various conferences, such as those organised by the Centre for Social and Environmental Accounting Research (CSEAR), the Environmental, Ecological, Extinction Accounting, Governance and Economics Research Group (EEEAGER), the Principles for Responsible Management Education (PRME) UK & Ireland, and the British Accounting and Finance Association (BAFA).
