Ron Mobed

Ron Mobed has held executive positions in information and analytics companies including seven years as CEO at Elsevier where he led the digital transformation of the business and five years as division President/COO at IHS. He has lived and worked in Africa, Asia and the USA.

He is currently Vice-Chair and Supervisory Board Member of Fugro N.V., the world’s leading geo-data company, and a Non-Executive Director of Ordnance Survey. In addition, he is a Trustee and Chair of the Nominations Committee of the Campaign for Science and Engineering (CaSE).

Ron holds a MA from Cambridge University and a MSc from Imperial College London and is a Fellow of the Energy Institute and of the Institute of Directors.
