Hi, I’m Megha Pradeep Kumar, an MSc International Business student at the University of Dundee, School of Business, set to graduate in 2025. My journey has taken me from an engineering background in India to the dynamic world of business. I’ve worked as a Quality Engineer and developed a keen interest in strategic management and leadership. Now, I’m gearing up for the next big step in my career!

Choosing Dundee was one of the best decisions I have made. The School of Business offers a truly international experience, and the MSc International Business programme has challenged me to think globally, adapt to new market trends, and develop skills that will help me thrive in any business environment. From case studies to group projects, every module has pushed me to grow both academically and professionally. The diverse student community and supportive faculty have made my learning experience even more enriching.

As I near the end of my studies, I’m excited about my next chapter. I have secured an online internship, which will allow me to gain valuable international work experience while balancing my studies. My long-term goal is to work in project management or business strategy within the entertainment industry, and this internship is a stepping stone towards that.

If I could give one piece of advice, it would be to embrace every opportunity—whether it's networking, joining competitions, or taking up internships. Balancing academics, job hunting, and personal growth isn’t always easy, but time management and persistence go a long way. Since I started my programme in September 2024, I had the advantage of aligning with the traditional academic cycle, which made it easier to connect with other students and participate in university activities from day one. It’s a great choice for those who prefer a structured academic year!

Studying at the School of Business has shaped my confidence, broadened my global perspective, and prepared me for a career in international business.

I would highly recommend this programme to anyone looking for a transformative learning experience. If you’re thinking about applying - go for it! It might just be the best decision you ever make.
