Katriona, a third-year Accountancy student at the School of Business, has led the University of Dundee’s Enactus team to an amazing achievement, securing a place in the Top 20 teams in the UK & Ireland for the first time ever.

The success at the Regional Qualifiers Competition in Durham marks a milestone for the team, who will now compete in the prestigious Enactus World Cup Qualifier.

In addition, exciting news arrived earlier this week with two special nominations. The team has been shortlisted for the Enactus Values in Action Award, recognising their dedication to social impact. As well as, Katriona, who serves as the team’s president, has been personally nominated for the Enactus Changemaker of the Year Award, a title awarded to the most outstanding Enactus student in the country.

“As a team, we are overjoyed with these nominations. It showcases all the hard work we've put in this year, and it's even more exciting because we’ve never been nominated for these awards before! We’re incredibly proud to represent Dundee on this stage and can’t wait for what’s ahead.”

Over the next few weeks, the team will work on their presentation with the support of Dr. Daniel Clarke, (Senior Lecturer in Management, School of Business) and Craig Reoch (Careers Advisor, School of Business) as they prepare to showcase their work to panels of 20 judges as well as expo attendees.

The School of Business is proud to support and wish the Enactus team all the best as they take this next big step.
