The University of Dundee and Dundee University Students’ Association (DUSA) have come together to sign the Student Partnership Agreement (SPA) to further improve the student experience.
Published on 15 November 2024

The Student Partnership Agreement (SPA) outlines mutually agreed priorities and actions for delivering measurable and tangible improvements to the student experience.
The new SPA sets out shared priorities for the period 2024-27. These priorities build upon those set out in last year’s agreement.
The new SPA focuses on three key themes:
- Vibrant Campus – Foster a vibrant, dynamic, and lively campus environment that students want to spend time on. Engaging students and staff on campus, for in-person activities, and working with partners to deliver this.
- Health and Wellbeing – Improve awareness, effective collaboration, and access to existing DUSA and university services to promote health and well-being throughout campus.
- The Student Voice – Amplifying the student voice with a well-established rep structure and effective communication between the university staff and the student body.
Professor Blair Grubb, Vice-Principal of Education at the University, said, “I am delighted to formalise our partnership with DUSA with the signing of the SPA and to embark on this initiative that fosters collaborative efforts between DUSA and the University.
I’m looking forward to working jointly with DUSA and the Student Executive to achieve our goals for this SPA in each priority area”
Manaswi Budhathoki, DUSA President said, “I’m so thrilled to have signed the SPA. It’s so important to have this partnership for both of us to commit to working towards our common goals to ensure that both students and staff have the best experience possible at the University.”
