Here are the best spots to study on City campus at the University of Dundee.
First off, we have Scrymgeour Library. This library is located right behind the reception, which you will see as you walk through the main doors. It is generally a quiet library, however you are allowed to do group work. There are computers set up for you.
The next spot is Tower Cafe located on the 10th floor of the Tower Building. If you are looking for a chill atmosphere with a good view while studying, this is the perfect spot. I come here almost on all sunny days because I feel like sunlight just motivates me to study.
Next, we have the Liar Bar located on the second floor of the DUSA building. This is also a Cafe atmosphere study spot.
We then have the Science and Engineering Building, Fulton located opposite the library. This has a common room which also is a quiet study space. However, you are allowed to do group work.
And of course, we have our main library consisting of the two floors and the third floor being the law library. The ground floor is mostly group study area, and the first floor is a quiet area. However, there are rooms you can book using the University of Dundee app or tablets in the library. On the top floor we have the newly refurbished law library which is open to everyone. The entire floor is a quiet study area, however the terraces on both floors are group study areas and there are a number of desk and monitors set up for students to use on all floors.
Lastly, we have the Dalhousie building where students are allowed to use empty rooms as informal study spaces, meaning you can use them for group work or self-study. However, do make sure to scan the QR codes to know when formal classes may be taking place in the classroom.
Thank you for watching and good luck studying. Bye bye.
