Come with me to find out what a day in the life is like as a third-year Animation student studying at DJCAD.
This morning, I had a 9.30 lecture where we were learning about colour and films and how it is used for storytelling.
At around 12 I headed back home for a break and to type up some notes from the lecture before heading out for some brunch with a few coursemates.
I found it great to make friends with people in this course as we mostly work in groups.
After lunch I headed into the studio to have a short meeting with my course group where, as you can see I was having clearly a bit of a fight with our current display of work.
After catching of my peers I headed up to the Media Lab to work on the group work that we just discussed.
My current task was animating a short scene for a group project which was 2D animated on TVPaint.
The Media Labs provide all the software you need for any animation project.
After a couple hours of working, I headed back home and did some drawing on my iPad, which is my favourite way to wind down after a long day.
