Updates from alumni who graduated during the 2000s
Richard Khoe, Energy Law and Policy '06

Richard is Australian but moved to San Francisco a few years ago to work for the California Public Advocates Office.
He manages a team that focuses on California’s electricity distribution grid. Richard said, “We spend most of our time thinking about the impact that electric vehicles will have on the grid. Since there are so many EVs in California, it’s a complicated, high profile, interesting area of work. We have built a model in the R programming language that helps us forecast where electric vehicles will charge and what the overall cost to energy consumers will be of building out the grid to provide electricity to all of these EVs.”
Damian Broussard, Nursing '08

Damian was born and raised in Lake Arthur, Louisiana, USA - a very small town with only 2,500 residents. After earning an Associate Degree in Nursing, he decided to pursue a bachelor's degree in nursing through the University of Dundee, distance learning.
Damian proudly completed the Degree in 2008 and since then, has worked in many hospital departments alongside pursuing his master's degree and ultimately his Doctorate and a dual board certification in Family Practice and Dermatology. Damian now owns a dermatology practice in rural Louisiana, treating the underserved rural population there.
He recently visited Dundee with his family for the first time.
Liang Li, Biochemistry '05
"After graduating in biochemistry, I now work as a biotech consultant for Resilient Collective, a company that offers one-stop solutions to help clients access the expertise needed to succeed in the European biotech sector. My time at Resilient Collective has been a fantastic experience -I’ve thoroughly enjoyed collaborating with the team and exchanging ideas on consulting strategies.
"In addition, I serve as a consultant for Salve.Inno, an organisation committed to transforming global recruitment. In this role, I support various companies with their human resources needs, ranging from individual recruitment projects to large-scale hiring and team-building initiatives."
Zoe Sadler, Illustration '04

Zoe is enjoying a career filled with creativity and colour following the completion of her studies in Dundee. After continuing her educational journey studying a postgraduate degree in Publishing at the University of Plymouth, Zoe has since embarked on her voyage into illustration.
Being inspired by the mystical and magical, she found herself working for Athena Press where she made stories come to life illustrating books for children. Not only has Zoe created art for books, but she has also had her work published by Ravensburger for their jigsaw and puzzles.
After 15 years in the world of illustration, Zoe has recently finished a passion project. Working with Blue Angel publishing, Zoe has designed an oracle deck. Coming together over five years and published in Australia and the UK (with America just around the corner), she has found this project hugely positive and rewarding.
