Change in role holder of SLS Associate Dean International

During her time in the role, Kim has led:

• In the establishment of an SLS international strategy for outward mobility, open recruitment and overseas partnership programmes at both Undergraduate and Post Graduate level
• a significant increase in annual recruitment of Overseas UG students from 2014, reaching 6-fold increase in 2019 
• In the establishment of 16 overseas teaching partnerships with Universities in Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, China, and the Americas, ranging from study abroad, to articulation degrees, to dual and joint degrees
• In the establishment of a School conversion strategy
• In the recent development of our overseas Post Graduate Research student recruitment strategy - with the recent success in securing SLS being listed as a destination of choice for fully sponsored PhD students from Indonesia

Kim will continue in her position as Assistant Vice-Principal (International) for the University. A role which she has held since September 2021.

Graham already has a lot of experience in internationalisation, being University Academic Lead for International activity in the ASEAN Region and Programme Lead for our Joint Degree Programme with the National University of Singapore and our Double Degree Programme with i3L, Jakarta. Graham will start in his new role on 1st May when he will also become a member of the School Executive Group in his new capacity.
