Your degree should be in Illustration, Children’s books, Graphic Design, Experience Design, Animation Design, Digital Design, Typography & Publishing Design, Comic Design, Creative Arts & Design, Visual Media Studies, or Visual Narrative.

Other degrees may be considered if based on relevant communication work experience

You do not need to submit a portfolio as part of your application, however you may include a link to an online portfolio as part of your personal statement.

You will need to submit a personal statement, of 500 words, with your application explaining:



  • Your motivation for undertaking the course

  • Why you are appropriate for this course (relevant skills and work experience)

  • What expectations you have of the course

  • How you feel the course will benefit you


Optional: You could include a link to your portfolio to help us understand your work and abilities better.

English language requirements

You do not need to prove your knowledge of English if you are a national of certain countries.
