Our MSc courses are designed to support you to achieve career aspirations beyond your initial role. While almost all of our students are already in professional roles, students who have completed our masters courses in the past have moved on to management and other promoted posts, as well as specialist roles such as hospital at night and clinical governance leads.
The core requirements of research and professional modules within the course ensures that you will have developed a range of key transferable skills that promote excellence, innovation and leadership in practice. Our aim is to help students become the leaders and experts of the future in health and social care, to be adaptable, confident and challenging in their approach, and to become the change agents in their professions.
At the University of Dundee, we’re committed to helping you build a successful future. With a clear employability strategy, we support you to develop essential skills, gain valuable experience, and learn how to confidently apply for opportunities.
Our expert Careers Service offers tailored guidance, interactive workshops, and events such as Green Careers Week, the International Students Careers Symposium, and recruitment fairs.
Each academic school ensures employability is embedded throughout your studies, working in partnership to connect your learning with real-world opportunities. Over 300 employers visit campus each year, collaborating with students through placements, consultancy projects, and immersive experiences.
