Economics has been taught at the University of Dundee for 90 years. In that time, we have been able to follow the careers of our economics graduates. The breadth and range of careers that economics graduates have gone into is an incredible range, covering all sectors, all types of business, and many job roles.

We can see graduates of economics carving out successful careers in marketing, sales, and business development, across all sectors and industries. And in other business support departments such as HR, recruitment, personnel, training/development. This is due to the wide and varied education.

So, with the right attitude, an economics degree really does open many career options. Especially for those graduates that fill have filled their CV with other activities, clubs, societies, and volunteering.
