Industry placement
During your studies, you will undertake an industry project for at least 12 weeks. You'll gain practical, relevant experience and make valuable contacts in industry. While on placement, you'll have the support and guidance of our academic staff.
Completing a work placement is a mandatory requirement to graduate with a Master of Science (MSc). The School will provide support to find and apply for placements. However, it is ultimately your responsibility to secure an appropriate placement.
If a work placement is not secured, you may still be eligible to graduate with an alternative qualification, such as a Postgraduate Diploma, subject to meeting academic requirements.
