Registry maintains student records and oversees key processes for undergraduate, taught postgraduate and research students throughout their academic journey

We maintain the student records system. This system manages your academic journey from matriculation to graduation. During matriculation, we will ensure you're registered and enrolled on the right course. If you're a visa holder, we will check that you are compliant with UK Home Office study requirements.
Our team also:
- manages tuition fee records, working with funding bodies like SAAS and SLC
- constructs teaching and exam timetables
- processes module results
- oversees graduation planning and delivery
- provides official documents to verify your studies after you graduate
We ensure all data meets university and external reporting requirements (e.g. HESA, SFC, OfS). We also support staff, management, and committees across the University.
If you need to update your student record (e.g. change your name, title or gender), order a new Student ID card, or request a letter to show you are a current student, please read through our useful guides.
