Entry requirements

A UK Upper Second-Class Honours (2:1) degree

Your degree needs to be in Psychology, and you will need to hold the Graduate Basis for Chartership (GBC) with the British Psychological Society (BPS).

An MSc Psychology conversion degree will also be accepted if your undergraduate degree is at 2:2 or above.

You also need to:

  • have a minimum of two year’s full-time experience working with children and young people within an educational, health, social care, youth justice, childcare, or community setting by the application deadline

    • either 24 months full-time paid employment
    • or a combination of 12 months full-time equivalent paid employment, with 12 months sustained relevant voluntary experience

Any additional relevant paid or voluntary experience over the two-year minimum requirement should also be included.

We do not use conditional offers on this course, therefore you will need all of these before you apply
